Colorado Springs, Colo.---The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has named 18 student-athletes from the OCCAC as NJCAA Academic Student-Athlete Award winners and honored several teams for their overall academic achievement.

Cincinnati, Ohio---Cincinnati State sophomore Julie Martin has been selected as a National Junior College Athletic Association All-American in women’s soccer after putting together one of the best statistical seasons by an individual player in the school's history.

Melbourne, Fla.---Entering today, the No. 13 Express women's soccer team needed a lot of help to stay alive in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) D-I National Tournament, and they got it.

Toledo, Ohio---Elizabeth Theaker's (Maumee/Maumee, Ohio) first half goal ended up being the game-winner as the No. 19 Express women's soccer team defeated Cincinnati State Technical and Community College 2-0 in the Region XII championship game.
