Martin leads Cincinnati State to victory over Muskegon
Cincinnati, OH---Sophomore Julie Martin scored two goals on Saturday to lead Cincinnati State to a 3-0 victory over Muskegon Community College.

Cincinnati, OH---Sophomore Julie Martin scored two goals on Saturday to lead Cincinnati State to a 3-0 victory over Muskegon Community College.
Martin, who leads the team in scoring, scored the games first goal in the 30th minute off of a set up from teammate Jami Pfeifer. The game remained 1-0 until the 80th minute when Martin took a pass from Brittani Abner, dribbled by two Jayhawk defenders and scored her 8th goal of the season. Freshman Jacqueline Cain gave the Surge a 3-0 lead converting a header off a corner kick in the 83rd minute.
Lee earned her fourth shutout of the season, turning away all five Jayhawk shots.
The Lady Surge, which improved to 6-4 on the season, take on Lake Michigan College on Sunday at 2 pm. The game will be held at Walnut Hills High School.
