Lady Surge climb back over .500 with win over Kellogg
Cincinnati, OH---The Cincinnati State women's soccer improved to 1-game over .500 with a 3-0 win over Kellogg Community College on Sunday.

Cincinnati, OH---The Cincinnati State women's soccer improved to 1-game over .500 with a 3-0 win over Kellogg Community College on Sunday.
Cincinnati State, which successfully bounced back after losing 1-0 to Delta College on Saturday, scored all three of goals in the first half. Julie Martin scored her team leading 6th goal of the season in the 20th minute after taking a pass from midfielder Ashleigh Merk and finding the back of the net. Freshman Jessica Wolski, a graduate of Bishop Fenwick, scored the first of her two goals in the 22nd off of a set piece strike from 20 yards out. Wolski's second goal came in the 43rd on a direct kick.
Kelsie Lee and the Surge defense earned their third shutout of the season while holding the Bruins to just two shot attempts on net.
The Lady Surge, which improved to 5-4 on the season, take on Muskegon Community College next Saturday at 3 pm. The game will begin at 3 pm.
