Pickerington Central guard Phylicia Johnson signs with Cincinnati State
Cincinnati, OH---Pickerington Central High School's Phylicia Johnson has chosen to continue to play basketball at Cincinnati State next season.

Cincinnati, OH---Pickerington Central High School's Phylicia Johnson has chosen to continue to play basketball at Cincinnati State next season.
A 5'8 combo guard, Johnson helped lead Pickerington Central to a 16-7 mark during her senior season. She averaged 10.2 points, 3.1 assists and 2.1 steals. At the conclusion of the season, Johnson was named to the All-Central Team, All-District Team and played in the District 11 All-Star Game.
"Cincinnati State was the right choice for me. The school seems like it will be the perfect fit for me over the next two years," Johnson said.
Johnson will begin taking classes in the fall with interests in the sport management and occupational therapy.
She joins a 2013-2014 roster which includes incoming freshmen Emily Fite (North Adams HS/ Seaman,OH), Basha Ramsey (Centerville HS/ Centerville, OH), Danielle Cheatum (Lloyd HS/ Erlanger, KY), Ball State University transfer Jonessa Moore (Mt. Healthy HS/ Cincinnati, OH) and Miami-Middletown transfer Chelsea Paddy (Hughes HS/ Cincinnati, OH).
