A 5'10" forward, Ramsey helped lead the Centerville Elks to a 26-2 overall record with a 9-1 mark in the Greater Western Ohio Conference. The Elks claimed their first district title since 2004 as well as being co-conference champions and reaching the regional finals by knocking of Princeton High School.
Ramsey started in 5 games and played in all 28 games for the Elks, averaging 4.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 44.1% from the field. Her best game of her senior season came against Springfield on Jan. 16 when she led all scorers with 13 points to go along with 10 rebounds and 3 steals. Ramsey is the sixth player from Centerville's 2013 roster to sign a letter of intent to continue playing at a college program.
"I am extremely grateful for my time playing at Centerville and excited to start the next chapter at Cincinnati State with Coach Beeler," Ramsey said. "My goal is to work hard everyday and eventually move on to a 4-year program after a successful two year at Cincinnati State."
With her father Ed, mother Laura, sister Chloe and brother Dominique present, Basha became the first member of the 2013 signing class and will team up with returning sophomores Hannah Stephenson, Grace McDougall, Alexus Chinn, Brandi Henschen and Desiree Ash.
