Hartings Named OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week
Erika Hartings, an outside hitter for the Owens Community College women's volleyball team, has been named the OCCAC's player of the week.

Erika Hartings, an outside hitter for the Owens Community College women's volleyball team, has been named the OCCAC's player of the week.
In a straight set win over Cuyahoga on the road last Wednesday, Hartings had 13 kills, five digs with a .417 hitting percentage. On Friday, she had 12 kills, three blocks, one dig and a .435 hitting percentage in a four set win over Cincinnati State. She closed her week with 11 kills, three digs, one block and a .647 hitting percentage against Columbus State.
She totaled 36 kills, nine digs, three blocks, one assist and a .484 hitting percentage over all three matches.
Hartings has 139 kills (2.84/set), 11 aces, 37 digs and 22 blocks this year. She is hitting .263.
Hartings and the No. 8 Owens volleyball team is 12-3 overall and 5-0 in OCCAC play. They will have a first-place showdown with Lakeland Community College tomorrow on the road at 5 p.m. before staying on the road to take part in the Parkland Invitational this weekend.
