Reigelsperger Named OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week (Aug. 20-30)
Macy Reigeslpeger, a sophomore middle blocker for the No. 9 Owens Community College women's volleyball team, has been named the first OCCAC volleyball player of the week for the 2015 season.

Macy Reigeslpeger, a sophomore middle blocker for the No. 9 Owens Community College women's volleyball team, has been named the first OCCAC volleyball player of the week for the 2015 season.
The 5'10" Reigelsperger has led Owens to a 7-3 start this year. Over 10 matches (33 sets), she has 98 kills, six service aces, 71 digs and 32 blocks. She is hitting .325, producing 2.97 kills per set and 2.15 digs per set.
In a matchup against No. 1 Parkland, Reigelsperger had 12 kills, while hitting .370. From Aug 23-30, she had a seven match streak of at least 10 kills, and she also produced three matches with at least 10 digs.
Reigelsperger and Owens will be back in action at 6 p.m. this Friday at Sinclair Community College. It will mark the beginning of conference play.
