Jarrar (3 G, 3 A) Named OCCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Toledo, Ohio---Ahmad Jarrar, a sophomore forward for the Owens Community College men's soccer team, has been named the OCCAC player of the week.

Jarrar produced three goals and three assists last week, including two goals and an assist in an OCCAC win over Lakeland Community College last Wednesday.

In the game against Lakeland, Jarrar assisted on the game's first goal with a through pass to Jamison Foos. He then scored back-to-back goals to put the team up four just minutes into the second half.

Jarrar closed the week with one goal and two assists in a win over Mercyhurst North East Community College on the road.

Jarrar has nine goals and eight assists this year. He is second on the team in scoring. In OCCAC play, he leads the team in scoring with five goals and one assist.

Owens is 9-5-1 overall and 3-2 in OCCAC play. They will close out conference play with a road tilt at Cuyahoga Community College today.
