Dominic Digiacomo of Owens Community College was selected OCCAC golfer of the week by the league's coaches following his performances in a pair of tournaments at Columbus State last weekend.

Digiacomo, a sophomore from Ocean City, N.J., posted a 3-under par 69, the best score recorded in the OCCAC this season, to take medalist honors at the Columbus State Open on Sunday.  On Saturday, Digiacomo shot a 2-over 74 to finish third at the Columbus State Classic.

Digiacomo's performances helped Owens to wins in both of the tournaments.  The Express carded team totals of 292 on both days, the lowest rounds of the season in the OCCAC this spring.  Owens has now won the first four of the eight OCCAC events.

Digiacomo is tied for the conference lead with his 74.25 scoring average, sharing first place with teammate Will Mullins.
