Cincinnati State golf team wins Vincennes University Trailblazer Fall Classic
Montgomery, IN---Entering the final 18 holes of the Vincennes Trailblazer Fall Classic with the overnight lead, the Cincinnati State golf team shot a final round 306 to win the tournament with a combined 2-day score of 604.

Montgomery, IN---Entering the final 18 holes of the Vincennes Trailblazer Fall Classic with the overnight lead, the Cincinnati State golf team shot a final round 306 to win the tournament with a combined 2-day score of 604.
Playing at Country Oaks Golf Club in Montgomery, IN, the Surge were led by freshman Taylor Suggs, who finished in 3rd place in individual play with a score of 148 (+4) for the tournament. Sophomore Matt "Chappy" Nickoson finished in a tie for fourth with a 150 (+6).
Austin Kyle and Evan Bryan each shot 154 (+10) to round out the Surge scoring. "Winning this tournament is big. It was a field filled with great teams including NCAA 4 year programs as well as the defending NJCAA national champions in Vincennes," Head Coach Scott Webb said. "Our guys played well in a highly competitive fall tournament."
Kaskaskia's College Paul Lawrence finished in 1st place shooting 141 (-3), leading his team to a second place finish with a team score of 610.
