Surge finish second in Miami-Middletown Invitational powered by Kyle's 78
Middletown, OH -- The Cincinnati State golf team finished in 2nd place in a field of ten teams at the Miami-Middletown Invitational held at Wildwood Golf Club on Friday afternoon.

Middletown, OH -- The Cincinnati State golf team finished in 2nd place in a field of ten teams at the Miami-Middletown Invitational held at Wildwood Golf Club on Friday afternoon.
In cold conditions with wind gusts of up to 30 mph, the Surge were led by freshman Austin Kyle's 78, the third lowest score of the tournament. Matt Nickoson shot an 81. Sophomore Jake Ripberger recorded an 84. Ricky Dumont finished the tournament with an 89 as the team combined to shot 332.
Ohio State-Lima's Brady Schroeder shot a tournament low 74(+3). Ohio State University-Newark placed 1st as a team with a total of 327 strokes.
The Surge will return to action in Saturday's Miami University-Hamilton Tournament held at Hamilton Elks Golf Course. The tournament is scheduled to begin at noon.
