Smith, Roldan Earn OCCAC Player, Pitcher of the Week Awards In Baseball
Jesus Roldan and Doug Smith, both of Cuyahoga Community College, have been named the OCCAC player and pitcher of the week recipients, respectively, in baseball.

Jesus Roldan and Doug Smith, both of Cuyahoga Community College, have been named the OCCAC baseball player and pitcher of the week recipients, respectively.
Roldan, a sophomore outfielder, went 6-for-12 (.500) with three runs, two doubles, seven RBI and one walk in three games last week.
In six games this year, Roldan is hitting .429 with nine RBI and four runs. He leads his team in batting average and RBI.
Smith, a freshman RHP, picked up a win in his only start last week. He went seven innings while allowing five hits, two runs and one walk while striking out six.
In two starts this year, Smith is 1-1 with a 1.50 ERA and 12 strikeouts.
Cuyahoga is 6-5 overall this year. They will be back in action tomorrow at Brunswick Community College.
