Krieger, Cowles Earn OCCAC Player, Pitcher of the Week Awards In Baseball
Toledo, Ohio---Ricky Krieger and Tyler Cowles of Sinclair Community College have earned the season's first Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) player and pitcher of the week awards in baseball.

Ricky Krieger and Tyler Cowles of Sinclair Community College have earned the season's first Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) player and pitcher of the week awards in baseball.
Cowles, a sophomore outfielder, hit .381 with one home run, nine RBI, 11 runs and six stolen bases in seven games. He scored at least one run in each game, with multiple runs in three games - including a season-high three runs in a 13-2 win over Westmoreland County.
Krieger, a sophomore left-handed pitcher, went 2-0 with a 2.00 ERA and 10 strikeouts over nine innings pitched. In an 11-1 win over Georgia Highlands, he went five innings and allowed three hits, one run and two walks while striking out six. Then, in a 7-1 win over St. Clair County, he went four innings and allowed one hit, one run and one walk while striking out four.
The season's first award is for all games played through March 6.
