OCCAC Representing in National Basketball Tournaments
Three OCCAC member schools have advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament in their respective basketball divisions. The fifth-ranked Express of Owens Community College topped No. 9 Sinclair, 73-64, to earn their spot in the 16-team NJCAA D-II Women’s National Tournament. On the men’s side, Cuyahoga and Columbus State are battling for national titles in the D-II and D-III Men’s National Tournaments, respectively.

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Three OCCAC member schools have advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament in their respective basketball divisions. The fifth-ranked Express of Owens Community College topped No. 9 Sinclair, 73-64, to earn their spot in the 16-team NJCAA D-II Women’s National Tournament. On the men’s side, Cuyahoga and Columbus State are battling for national titles in the D-II and D-III Men’s National Tournaments, respectively.
