OCCAC Hands Out Volleyball Hardware for Award Winners

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Amid postseason play for several OCCAC volleyball representatives, the conference office announced the 2018 All-OCCAC honors on Friday (Nov. 2).
Sinclair’s KC Gan earned Coach of the Year honors for the fourth time in his career (2000, 2005 and 2012 as well).
Yearly student-athlete award winners are highlighted by Michael Eisenhauer (Owens) as the Player of the Year, accompanied by Libero of the Year, Whitney Pleiman (Edison State), Summer Sweeting (Owens) as the Setter of the Year and Elizabeth Sicking (Sinclair) taking home Freshman of the Year accolades.
Eisenhauer is the fourth straight member of The Express to be named the OCCAC Player of the Year, right in line with the school’s four consecutive league titles.
