For the third time in the final five weeks of the regular season, Edison State's Kylie Green has been named the OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week. Green's hot streak coincided with the Chargers capping a flawless conference season at 10-0 to earn the program's first OCCAC championship.
Green averaged 5.3 digs and 4.0 kills per set during three consecutive straight-set victories — including title-clinching road wins over the second and third place finishers, Cuyahoga and Lakeland. She posted double-doubles in victorious efforts over Wright State Lake (23 digs, 15 kills) and Cuyahoga (10 digs, 15 kills) with a 15-dig showing at Lakeland sandwiched in-between. Green terminated a half dozen kills against the Lakers as well.
