CLAY JACOBS | Baseball (Position) Player of the Week
Edison State Community College
Jacobs was responsible for 21 runs (11 RBI, 10 runs scored) in a 6-game week for the Chargers. He smacked two homers and two triples to rise above 1.000 slugging percentage. Bellamy missed bat after bat in a 5-inning complete game no-hitter as Edison State won at Lorain County, 11-0. He struck out 12 of 16 batters faced, allowing a lone baserunner (walk). Bellamy was named the OCCAC Pitcher of the Week on March 21 as well.
