Bourne, Chargers Surging as Postseason Looms

Edison State Volleyball is riding an 8-match winning streak with postseason play set to begin next week. Sophomore outside hitter Brooklyn Bourne played a large role in four victories over the last week (Oct. 21-28) and earned OCCAC Player of the Week recognition.

Bourne and the Chargers have rattled off 15 victorious sets in a row, including three straight sweeps over conference opponents. She posted 12 or more digs in three of the four wins while terminating a total of 36 kills, seven block assists and six aces.

Bourne is now a three-time OCCAC Player of the Week after taking home the honor twice in 2023.
