McDonald registered a 22-point, 15-rebound double-double during the Chargers’ 83-67 road win at Community Christian in Michigan. The freshman forward added two assists, two blocks and a steal in his 28 minutes of action. McDonald converted on 9-of-13 field goal attempts, including knocking down both 3-pointers. Five of his 15 boards came on the offensive glass.
Perry is now a three-time honoree after taking home back-to-back awards last January. Her latest laurel comes after compiling 23 points, six rebounds, five assists, five steals and two blocks in just 27 minutes of a lopsided 70-31 win at Erie. She made 11 (of 19) shots in total, and one from long range.
