Broyles, Turner Recognized by Conference Office
Kaylesha Broyles (Edison State) and Ronnell Turner (Sinclair) received another gift during the holiday season, picking up OCCAC Basketball Player of the week honors for Dec. 17-23.

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Kaylesha Broyles (Edison State) and Ronnell Turner (Sinclair) received another gift during the holiday season, picking up OCCAC Basketball Player of the week honors for Dec. 17-23.

Edison State Community College | D-II Women
Broyles provided a huge spark off the bench for the Chargers of Edison State. She logged 30 minutes and posted a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double in a 72-55 road win at UC-Clermont. A half dozen boards came on the offensive end and Broyles added three assists and two steals. She was efficient offensively, converting 8-of-13 (62%) field goal attempts. Broyles is the third different ESCC student-athlete to be named OCCAC Player of the Week this season, joining Lauryn Gray (Nov. 12) and Clair Schmitmeyer (Nov. 26, Dec. 10).
RONNELL TURNER
Sinclair Community College | D-II Men
Turner poured in 31 points on 12-of-22 (55%) shooting, including a 3-of-6 effort from long range. He added seven rebounds, four assists and two steals while committing three turnovers in a complete 40-minute showing at Wayne County. A member of the Tartan Pride men’s program has now earned the weekly conference honor in six of eight weeks this season.
