HOF Game Against Notre Dame JV Rescheduled
The Hall of Fame Men's Soccer Game slated for September 24, 2010 against the Notre Dame JV squad has been rescheduled for Wednesday October, 6, 2010 at Lakeland starting at 4:30. Please make note of the change.

39th Annual Lakeland Invitational Soccer Tournament Yearly Success
Lakeland Community College hosted its 39th Annual Lakeland Soccer Invitational. This is one of the longest running tournaments at the junior college level. Lakeland's president, Dr. Morris Beverage and Lakeland's head soccer coach, Djuro Peric played in the very first Invitational. The Lakers hosted Ancilla Community College, Cuyahoga Community College, and Delta Community College in this two day tournament. Despite the on and off rain Lakeland was able to come out on top, winning the Invitational. On Saturday the Lakers beat Ancilla by a score of 4-0. Scoring for the Lakers were sophomore Dean Miller with two goals, freshman Alfred Majer, and sophomore goal keeper, Antons Trifounous, scoring a penalty kick. After a long and hard fought match on Sunday, going into two ten minute overtime periods, the Lakers drew to Delta 1-1. Scoring the only goal for Lakeland was freshman Emmanuel Valderrama.
The All-Tournament Team , voted on by the coaches, was Boban Cancar from Cuyahoga, Cody Koesters and Cesar Landin from Ancilla, Josh McIntosh , Danny Reyes , and Sergio Lopez from Delta, and Sammy Mutemwa , Emmanuel Valderrama , Brandon Cruz , Juan Pacheco , and Jeffrey Sweigert from Lakeland. Ancilla's Cody Koesters was named “ Best Forward ”, Delta's Josh McIntosh was named “ Best Goalkeeper ”, and Lakeland's Sammy Mutemwa was named “ Best Halfback ”. The MVP of the tournament was Lakeland's Brandon Cruz.

Lakeland CC Defeats Conference Rival Cuyahoga in Close Game 1-0
Lakeland Community College men's soccer team defeated conference and Region 12 rival Cuyahoga CC 1-0. The Laker's statistics can be seen below:
