Owens' Rickard and Sinclair's Giamabrone name Co-Athletic Directors of the Year
The OCCAC is proud to announce that Owens Community College Athletic Director Michael Rickard and Sinclair Community College Athletic Director Jack Giamabrone have been named Co-Athletic Directors of the Year.
Rickard led the Owens program that had every team reach the post-season. Owens also had two student-athletes were nominated for the NATYCAA Academic Scholar Athlete Award. The Express also had 24 athletes earn OCCAC academic award winners.
Giamabrone had two teams win conference championships this year and nine athlete win OCCAC academic award winners. As OCCAC Assistant Commissioner he has been key in improvements to the OCCAC.
The OCCAC congratulates both Michael and Jack on the award.

Sinclair announces academic award winners
The Sinclair Community College athletic department has announced that nine Tartan Pride athletes have earned OCCAC academic awards and one of them has also earned a NJCAA academic award. The list of award winners are below
NJCAA Academic All-American: 3.60 to 3.79 GPA with at least 45 credits
