Women's Basketball
In the most recent National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Women's Basketball poll two teams from the OCCAC were ranked with Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and Owens Community College were ranked fifth and sixth, respectively
It was the third-consecutive week that Cincinnati State was ranked while Owens made their first appearance in the poll.
Cincinnati State is led by three players in double-figures this season in Heather Hassloch (20.3 ppg), Ashley Hudleston (16.7 ppg) and Tamara Sneed (10.2 ppg). Hassloch is averaging a double-double with at team-leading 10.6 rebounds per game and also has 3.0 blocks per game. Huddleston has a team-leading 4.7 assists per game and Sneed leads the team with 3.1 steals per game.
The Surge are 6-2 on the season.
Owens is led by Jeanne Bockey (13.4 ppg), Unique Lane (11.7 ppg, 5.3 reb), Sarah Clark (9.1 ppg, 6.3 rpg), Josie Smith (2.6 agp). The Express are 6-4 on the seson
